CIO Platform Nederland, in collaboration with Brabers, has submitted a consultation response to the European Commission’s draft Merger Guidelines. We have done so to clearly bring forward the perspective of business users of digital technologies. For organisations that depend on cloud, software and digital infrastructure, it is crucial that merger control better takes into account dependencies, lock-in and limited switching possibilities.

Developments in digital technology regulations are increasingly taking shape and impacting practice, while new legislative initiatives and revisions continue to emerge. To ensure our members are well informed and able to respond collectively, we are organizing a joint session of the CEG Legal & Compliance and the CEG Infrastructure & IT Service Management. IT architects, IT operations, IT service and infrastructure managers will exchange experiences on architecture, organizational design, and IT processes related to infrastructure, application and service management, data centers, network processes, and outtasking/outsourcing.
