During the formation process, the CSR shared its perspective on the digital playing field with the parties involved in forming the new government. In short, the desired investment must provide for the achievement of four priorities set by the Council:

  1. Strengthen the digital resilience of government, critical infrastructure and the business community
  2. Invest in digital autonomy
  3. Prepare the Netherlands for AI-driven threats
  4. Better protect citizens against cybercrime

In addition, continued attention is required for the preconditions for continuing to guarantee digital security. Read the CSR's full appeal here.

Letter from CIO Platform Netherlands

In this letter, we also call for, among other things, a reduction in dependence on non-European technology, action to be taken to implement artificial intelligence and the strengthening of digital resilience.
