How secure is your cloud really? Ethical Hacking Workshop at Achmea
When it comes to cloud services, the real danger rarely lies where you expect it.
Vendors proudly present their ISO certifications, audit reports, and signed security agreements—and on paper, everything looks perfect. Yet Achmea once came dangerously close to a major incident in a situation where everything appeared completely secure.
In this eye-opening session, Peter Stegeman (pentester and ethical hacker at Achmea) reveals the hidden risks behind external (cloud) services: the blind spots that contracts, certifications, and pentests simply cannot cover. You’ll also hear about a real Achmea case where things nearly went seriously wrong.
And then—it’s your turn to think like a hacker!
Join the hands-on workshop where you’ll attempt to break into small websites and servers through real hacking challenges. No technical expertise is required, but you do need to bring your own laptop. A standard web browser is sufficient.
After each challenge, Peter will show exactly how similar vulnerabilities have led to real security issues within Achmea.
What you’ll gain:
- Discover how hackers think
- See what security documentation doesn’t reveal
- Learn what it really takes to stay secure in a cloud-driven world
