Arnoud brings a broad background at the intersection of digitalization, media, community building, and knowledge sharing. He has worked for many years as an editor-in-chief, publisher, conference organizer, and advisor, including for CIO Magazine, iBestuur, and AG Connect. This experience has given him a strong understanding of organizational dynamics, both in the private sector and in government, particularly in relation to digitalization and innovation.

“What has always fascinated me is how to present complex developments to people who need to guide them on a daily basis,” says Arnoud. “How do you ensure that this information is relevant? Especially in a time when digitalization is intertwined with almost every societal and economic development, that is very important.”

At CIO Platform Netherlands, Arnoud will be involved in supporting the CIO Committees, moderating meetings, developing content-driven agendas, and strengthening relationships with members and external stakeholders.

Knowledge sharing and community building are central themes in his work. “Ultimately, the quality of a network lies in the quality of the conversations you have with one another. Especially at a strategic level, it is valuable to share experiences, dilemmas, and perspectives with people who carry similar responsibilities.”
