Matthijs Zwart Joins the Cyber Security Council

In June, Matthijs Zwart joined the Cyber Security Council (CSR). The Cyber Security Council is an independent advisory body to the Dutch government that operates at a strategic level to strengthen cybersecurity and digital resilience in the Netherlands. The council brings together representatives from business, government, and academia. On behalf of CIO Platform Nederland, Matthijs serves on the council as a representative of the private sector.

2026-08-07 Matthijs Zwart en Dennis Broeders treden toe tot CSR

Matthijs is CIO and CISO of Vitens, the Dutch drinking water company, and succeeds Claudia de Andrade de Wit, Head of Digital & Information Technology at the Port of Rotterdam Authority. Claudia had been a member of the Cyber Security Council since November 2019.

At the same time, the council looks forward to working together with Matthijs Zwart and Dennis Broeders to further strengthen the digital resilience and cybersecurity of the Netherlands.
