Organisations can now require their cybersecurity monitoring service providers to be certified under the CCV Monitoring quality mark (Dutch).  The first certification body is now available, making the quality mark operational. CIO Platform Nederland and several of its members contributed to its development.

Service providers can begin the assessment process, and clients can request certification or evidence of preparations for certification in tendering and contracting processes. This follows the earlier publication of the certification scheme by the CCV.

The Monitoring quality mark is not a stand-alone initiative. Under the coordination of the CCV, a growing system of qualitymarksfor cybersecurity services is being developed, including quality marks for penetration testing, incident response services and awareness training. These quality marks help clients assess the quality, professionalism and transparency of cybersecurity services.

CIO Platform Nederland, together with several of its members, is actively involved in developing these quality marks and keeping them up to date. Experts with hands-on experience make an important contribution to the substantive requirements and the further development of the schemes.
