CIO Platform Nederland in FD artikel ‘De wurggreep van de software reuzen’
Friday 04 October 2019 Het Financieele Dagblad besteedt aandacht aan een onderwerp dat voor CIO’s urgent is: de noodzaak dat grote software leveranciers hun gedrag richting klanten gaan aanpassen, evenwichtiger maken.
CIO Platform Nederland wil graag het gesprek aan gaan, zowel met leveranciers als met de Nederlandse en Europese toezichthouders op de markt. Een zichtbare verandering van houding en gedrag van de leveranciers is nodig. Deze kwestie is regelmatig aangekaart bij de IT-leveranciers, maar er is weinig verbetering waarneembaar. IT-systemen worden steeds belangrijker voor de toekomstige ontwikkeling van bedrijven. Het is de hoogste tijd dat de markt volwassen en eerlijker wordt. Daarbij hoort een evenwichtiger verhouding tussen leveranciers en klanten van deze cruciale technologieën, en ook meer vertrouwen.
