New 'cyber annual report' helps companies with digital regulations and security
Members in the news: CZ and Arcadis, A 'cyber annual report' can help companies and governments navigate the complex landscape of regulations regarding digital security and privacy. Starting this month, there is a standard for it, which is already in use by insurer CZ and engineering firm Arcadis.
A new type of report aims to help companies gain control over their digital security and comply with an increasing amount of regulations. Engineering and consulting firm Arcadis and health insurer CZ are the first to work with this standard for the 'cyber annual report'. The standard has been in development for five years.
For large companies like Arcadis, it is an administrative nightmare: they have to report separately on their IT security for many EU directives, regulators, and major clients. 'Now we have one document of 45 pages that must comply with more than a hundred different EU laws,' says Arcadis executive Hans Dekker.
