Matthijs Zwart, council member representing the private sector, joins the Council on behalf of CIO Platform Netherlands. He is CIO and CISO of the Dutch drinking water company Vitens and succeeds Claudia de Andrade de Wit (Hoofd Digital and Information Technology Havenbedrijf Rotterdam), who had been a member of the CSR since November 2019.

Dennis Broeders, council member representing the scientific sector, is Professor of Global Security and Technology at Leiden University and Senior Fellow at The Hague Program on International Cyber Security of the Institute of Security and Global Affairs (ISGA) in The Hague. He succeeds Bibi van den Berg, who had been a member of the CSR since September 2015.

The Cyber Security Council extends its sincere gratitude to Claudia de Andrade de Wit and Bibi van den Berg for their valuable contributions and commitment throughout their years of service. At the same time, the Council looks forward to working with Matthijs Zwart and Dennis Broeders to further strengthen the digital resilience and cybersecurity of the Netherlands.
