Extreme transparency helps to build coalitions with stakeholders

The Royal Navy has several drivers for change. The new geopolitical reality is an important one. Not only has the North Sea become more unsafe, but the threat landscape in Europe and beyond has also become more intense.
The Navy must be able to use operational processes that increasingly need to be controlled from the shore. Michiel explains this change. 'The goal is to deliver the same operational effectiveness in missions that are much more complex in 2025 than before, with fewer personnel on board the ships.'
